ISN'T AMBULANCE SERVICE PROVIDED
BY MY TAX DOLLARS?
No, as a non-profit organization, Lehighton Ambulance is
funded maily through the subscription drive, billing and
donations.
AS A SUBSCRIBER, DO I KEEP CHECKS
SENT TO ME BY MY INSURANCE COMPANY?
No. Any insurance reimbersement received for LAA services
must be sent directly to LAA. Failure to do so will result
in the revocation of the subscription. Additionally, legal
or collective action may be taken against the patient or
responsible party.
WHAT IF I DON'T SUBSCRIBE?
We will always answer the call, however, non-members are
subject to much higher out of pocket expenses, and any balance
the insurance company does not pay.
I ALREADY DONATE TO MY VOLUNTEER
FIRE COMPANY, AREN'T I COVERED THROUGH THE FIRE COMPANY?
No, although Lehighton Ambulance works very closely with
all of the local volunteer fire companies, there is no affliation.
