Expert Care in a

Lehighton Ambulance is an independent non-profit organization, which provides basic life support, advanced life support, emergency and non-emergency transportation services. Lehighton Ambulance has three stations located in Lehighton Borough, Penn Forest Township and the newest station in Summit Hill.

With over 80 staff members and 40 volunteers dedicated to providing expert medical care, we have been able to respond to over 5000 emergencies and 500 wheelchair van transports in 2005 and have continued to grow in 2006.

Lehighton Ambulance has Quick Response Service (QRS) which is recognized by the State of Pennsylvania Department of Health as an Emergency Unit. It is comprised of five volunteer EMT's in Penn Forest Township. These volunteers have their vehicles equipped with emergency medical equipment and are able to respond to an emergency situation from their homes providing basic life support services to patients pending the arrival of the ambulance.
